Darling, The Muted Mantis

As Rebecca presses ever onward towards The Pale Mistress' Lair, a chill rushes down her spine. In an instant, a fearsome foe strikes swiftly from the shadows of the dank, eerie cavern. Rebecca nimbly dodges the assault by a hair's width. As she gazes upon the wretched form of her opponent, she recalls an early fight, where she felt a dark presence looming in the treetops.

"Ah, you must be that fiend I sensed earlier. I've been waiting for you to come out of hiding."

The creature hisses loudly as it's slender body tenses, ready to pounce once more.

"You should have stayed in the shadows!"

As the one known as Darling leaps into the air, his spirit mandibles ready to maul our hero, Rebecca flares up her spirit sword and lunges forth.
